The play takes us to the ill-fated Antarctic expedition of Robert Falcon Scott, blending in flashbacks of Scott and the young wife he left behind in England, as well as glimpses of his Norwegian rival Roald Amundsen, whose party beat Scott to the South Pole. It is an incredible story drawn from his journals and letters that capture the chilling intensity of the bravery and heroism of Scott and his men.
