Imaginary setting and relationships clash with reality in the mind of a London housewife.
The set required the full width of the black box theater which led to a rearrangement of the theater seats into a two-sided "Tennis Court" layout. Reality is shabby, dreary, gray and decrepit while the fantasy is light, crisp and perfect.
